SGPC chief to visit Khalsa college today

Mata Ganga Khalsa College for Girls, Manji Sahib, Kotan, being run under the administration of the SGPC, Amritsar, will celebrate the birth anniversary of Sri Guru Gobind Singh on January 10 on the college premises,

Workshop organised

Schools in slums
Ludhiana, January 9
Mr Harnam Dass Johar, Education Minister, has appealed to slum dwellers that they should send their children to schools specially opened in slum areas as education helped an individual to reach the top in any field. Mr Johar was addressing people at Bhagat Singh dharamshala, Haibowal Khurd, after distributing 200 blankets in that area.
