FBRs not to be put in civilian N-list, US told

India has never proposed or indicated to the US that it would put its Fast Breeder Reactors (FBRs) programme under the civilian list of nuclear facilities since the two countries are engaged in negotiations on implementation of the July 18 Indo-US Nuclear Agreement.

TV star Kuljeet Randhawa hangs herself to death

Television actress and model Kuljeet Randhawa (25) committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan of her apartment at Juhu in suburban Mumbai.

cardiac arrest here this morning. She was 75.
She lived alone with her maid
servant.
The end came early this morning at
the Bhatia Hospital in downtown Mumbai where Nadira had been
hospitalised for the past fortnight following a paralytic stroke. The actress had been in coma for some days, according to information available from the hospital.

Navneet’s courage wins new groom

In a significant development, Navneet Kaur, who had refused to marry a dowry-seeking boy of Nilokheri yesterday, tied knot with a boy of Karnal today.
