REWARI
School employee stabbed: An employee of a private school at Rohrai village, near here, was injured after an old student of the school stabbed him on Tuesday night. Raj Singh was taken to a private hospital where the doctors referred him to Delhi. The police has registered a case of attempt to murder under Sections 307 and 324 of the IPC against Raju of Rohrai village.

SONEPAT
Woman killed: A married woman was on Thursday run over and killed on the spot by a train near the flyover of the railway station here. She was identified as a resident of Rajiv Nagar here.

Students clash: Four students were injured in a clash on the new courts road, near the Panchayat Bhavan, here on Thursday. Enmity between two rival groups was the main cause of the clash. The injured students were hospitalised.

Sanctioned: The Haryana Government has sanctioned Rs 17.90 lakh for carrying out development works at Gohana, Ganaur and Kharkhauda in this district. It has allotted Rs 7 lakh for Gohana, Rs 5 lakh for Ganaur and Rs 5.90 lakh for Kharkhauda.

Phone adalat: The BSNL will hold a telephone adalat on the premises of the main telephone exchange here on March 1. Mr T.S. Chauhan, District, General Manager, will redress the grievances of subscribers who will submit their complaints to the authorities concerned by February 17.

Janata darbar: The district administration will organise a janata darbar at Larsauli village in this district on February 15. Mr Mange Ram Dhull, SDM, will hear the grievances of the residents of Bhigan, Bari, Sanpera, Pipli Khera and Ganaur.

School locked up: Local residents, including women, locked up Government Girls Primary School in the Viashwakarma colony at Gohana, 35 km from here, on Thursday. They have demanded that the teachers of the school be transferred. They also held a dharna in front of the school building. The Block Education Officer has assured the residents to fulfil their demand.
