HR bus impounded; passengers stranded

Relief claims of 250 riot-hit families cleared

Two hundred fifty more claims of riot victims for payment of compensation of Rs 2 lakh per family have been approved by a district-level subcommittee. A recommendation in this regard has been sent to a state-level committee and the sanction for the same is expected in two weeks, according to Deputy Commissioner Ashok Kumar Gupta.
