Admits Centre’s appeal on HC-Raj Bhavan tussle
New Delhi, June 27
The Supreme Court today admitted the Centre’s appeal against the Allahabad High Court order on the transfer of the legal adviser to Uttar Pradesh Governor T V Rajeshwar, which has turned into a “confrontation” between him and the High Court Administration. The apex court, however, blamed Raj Bhavan for “precipitating” the crisis.

Sex racket: judicial custody for 2 ex-ministers
Srinagar, June 27
The Chief Judicial Magistrate here today remanded two former Jammu and Kashmir ministers, allegedly involved in the sex racket, in 14 days' judicial custody. Two former ministers Raman Matto and Ghulam Ahmad Mir are in the custody of the CBI since June 20.

3 water board officials suspended
