Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in east Rajasthan, a few places in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, west Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: Himachal Pradesh: Bharwain and Pandoh 2 each and Kasauli 1, Punjab: Ropar 3, east Rajasthan: Bakani 7, Aspur and Pipalkhunt 4 each, Galiakot 3, Bhungra, Jagpura, Railmogra, Sallopat, Sagwara, Shahpura and Vallabhnagar 2 each and Amet, Begu, Chikli, Chittorgarh, Ghatol, Jhadol, Kherwara, Kotri, Mandalgarh, Mavli and Udaipur AP 1 each and Uttaranchal: Banbasa 2 and Uttarkashi 1.
