Punjabi to the core
Talking to Ludhiana Tribune, the model said he just loved coming to Punjab not only because Punjabi food was superb but its people were vivacious. “I was born and raised in Mumbai but my roots have always been in Punjab. My grandparents belong to Amritsar and I have great respect for its traditions and culture,” said Jas. He said it felt great being the brand ambassador of the company he promotes. “I have seen their factory, the infrastructure and everything. Besides, they are good friends.” Jas does not find modelling any different from acting. “Once you are facing the camera, there is hardly any difference. But I enjoy doing both,” added the model. “I have been modelling for the past many years. Currently, I am doing ‘Prithvi Raj Chauhan’ on Star Plus. Also, I have done a small role in movie “Pyar Ke Side Effects” with Mallika Sherawat and Rahul Bose. I am happy that people have appreciated my work all along,” he said. Jas believes in dressing up aesthetically, bearing in mind the weather and body contours. “One must dress up in clothes that complement the shape of the body. While picking out clothes, one should be sure that they look good on you.” Admitting that he hadn’t yet had the chance to get around the city much, he said he was happy with hospitality that it had accorded to him thus far. |
