HUDA gets notice in plot allotment case

A Division Bench of the Punjab and Haryana High Court today issued notice of motion to the Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) for September 25 on a petition challenging the allotment of one acre plots at Panchkula for group housing co-operative societies.
Woman seeks action against daughter’s in-laws

Fashion park will be eco-friendly, says CEO
Chandigarh, September 5
The fashion technology park to be set up over 14 acres in Mohali will be an eco-friendly project and will be self-sufficient to deal with water and sewerage treatment.
This was stated by the promoters of the park while giving a presentation to
officials of the Punjab Pollution Control Board and Town and Country Planning
Department, before the public hearing for environmental clearance for the
project.

Badheri residents irked over MC order
Chandigarh, September 5
Residents of Badheri village today staged a dharna and raised slogans against the Municipal Corporation and the area councillor, Mr Kuldeep Singh, for passing wrong orders to erect mild steel railings in the public parks adjoining Ekta Market.

Reply sought from MC on open manholes

The Forum for Public Affairs under Section 7(1) of the Right to Information Act, 2005, yesterday demanded a reply within 48 hours from the municipal corporation about various issues concerning open manholes/pits/gullies and uncovered water tanks in the city.
DC recommends action against hotels
