New Delhi, September 11
A Delhi Court today granted bail to Chandigarh-based Dr J. S. Bedi, who was arrested on charge of giving false medical certificates to Vikas Gill, an accused in the Jessica Lall murder case. Gill had left for a foreign country after the medical certificate was issued to him.
Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate released Bedi on bail on the condition of furnishing a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh and two sureties of like amount.
The court also directed him to report to the investigating officer on the first Monday of each month.
