Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum fell in Rajasthan and change little elsewhere. They were appreciably above normal in East Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 40.0C recorded at Bharatpur, Churu and Sriganganagar (Rajasthan).
The minimum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in West Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 19 °C recorded at Chandigarh, and Swaimadhopur (Rajasthan).
