Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at many places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of precipitation in centimetre are: Jammu and Kashmir: Banihal, Batote, Pahalgam, Quazigund and Srinagar 1 each.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change:

The minimum temperatures changed little.

Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 8.8C recorded at Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of November 18: Rain/snow is likely at many places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of November 18: Mainly clear sky. Mist in the morning. The minimum temperature will be around 14C.

Farmers’ weather bulletin for Delhi, forecast valid until the morning of November 18: Sky will be mainly clear.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Precipitation is likely to increase in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal.Isolated rain/thundershowers are also likely in Haryana and Punjab. No large change in the rest of the region.
