Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. Kupwara (J&K) has recorded 1 cm. of precipitation.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures fell in east UP, rose appreciably in Himachal Pradesh, J&K, Punjab and Uttaranchal, rose in east Rajasthan and changed little elsewehere. Departure: They were below normal in east Uttar Pradesh, appreciably above normal in Punjab and east Rajasthan, above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, West Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plain was 6.4 C recorded at Sultanpur (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of December 5: Rain/snow will occur at many places in HP and J&K and at a few places in Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places in Punjab and west Rajsthan and at isolated places in Haryama. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Heavy rainfall warning: Isolated heavy snowfall is likely over Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir during next 48 hours.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Increase in precipitation.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of December 5: Partly cloudy sky with possibility of light rain during night/tomorrow. The minimum temperature will be around 13 C.
