Dr K S Roy, Dean, College of Veterinary Science, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), here was awarded the 'Life time Achievement Award' by the Indian Association of Veterinary Anatomists recently at Jammu.

The award has been bestowed upon Dr Roy in recognition of services rendered in the discipline of veterinary anatomy. The citation of the award depicted, " The Indian Association of Veterinary Anatomists proudly place on record the dedicated services rendered to the discipline of veterinary anatomy and to our association. Your strong foundation helped in building brilliant careers of veterinary students in general and anatomy students in particular. We salute you on this occasion and pray to the Almighty God for your healthy, wealthy and peaceful life".

The award carrying a Roll of Honour, cash prize and a gold medal was presented by Mr Zargar, Minister of Agriculture, Government of Jammu & Kashmir.
