Departure: They were markedly below normal in Punjab, appreciably below normal in Haryana, below normal in Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttrakhand and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was minus 1.4 degree Celsius recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Low temperature warning: Ground frost is likely at many places in Punjab and at a few places in Haryana, including Chandigarh and Delhi, north Rajasthan and northwest Uttar Pradesh during the next two nights.
