Nithari: CBI finds body parts

New Delhi, January 14
The discovery of several bundles containing parts of human torsos has led the CBI sleuths to believe it was unlikely that Moninder Singh Pandher and Surinder Koli, the main accused in the serial killings at Nithari in Noida, had links to illegal organ trade.

The CBI team probing the grisly murders has found more than a dozen bundles containing body parts in the home of Pandher and drains near it, sources said today.

The bundles, containing parts from the torsos of bodies, were found after the CBI took over the probe into the serial killings of women and children from Uttar Pradesh Police last week, the sources said. Till now, the police had not found any parts from the torsos of the 17 persons killed at Nithari, giving rise to speculation that Pandher and Koli might have been involved in illegal organ trade.

After interrogating Koli, the CBI has come to the prima facie conclusion that he is a psychopath who used to carry out the killings, the sources said. — PTI
