The local police has arrested two persons for luring voters with liquor in favour of a particular candidate. Two case of whisky bottles have been recovered.

Mr Komal Khanna, a former Ludhiana urban district youth Congress president, was today suspended from the party for his alleged anti-party activities. The suspension orders were issued by the Pradesh Youth Congress president, Mr Vijay Inder Singla, from Patiala today.
