Water, Water

Just have a look here and there

To your surprise you find water everywhere

If earth is divided into four quarters

Three of them are filled with water

Though on our earth, water is plenty

Then why the water bills are so lengthy

The main cause is water pollution

To which I don’t find any solution

At last I would like to say

That saving water is the right way

He has showered his love on me

He has held my hand firmly.

When I was down in the dumps

Feeling low and nervous

He has been a pillar of support.

Boosting me mentally and giving me comfort

He has sheltered me

From life’s cruel blows

Has cossetted and pampered me.

When I felt miserable.

He has been my inspiration

To overcome my frustration.

He has taught me to know my strengths

I’ve always sought his support

When I was in emotional turmoil.

From him have I sought the answers

To the questions of this world.

He is my friend, philosopher, a teacher and a guide

Without whom I cannot survive

For he is my ‘Father.’
