Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures changed little.
Departure: They were markedly above normal in east Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in west Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 5.8 degree Celsius recorded at Amritsar.
Forecast (valid until the morning of February 26):
Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand. Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places in Haryana, Punjab, south Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region. Isolated hailstorm/thunder squalls are likely in Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change is expected as a fresh western disturbance is likely to affect the region from February 27.
Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood (valid until the morning of February 26): Mainly clear sky likely to become partly cloudy. Possibility of light rain/thundershowers towards night/tomorrow morning. The minimum temperature will be around 13 degree Celsius.
