Hues of joy splashed on Holi

All roads led to celebrations Sunday morning, as revellers painted the city red with colours of joy on Holi. As the enthusiastic shrieks of “Holi hai” mingled with the constant din of trumpets and roar of engines, they zipped down the fast track of exhilaration on their bikes with silencers removed for targeting other players.

Carmel student dies of heart attack

Shaleen Chopra, 12-year-old daughter of Rajni Chopra and Suvir Chopra and student of Carmel Convent School, passed away here on March 3 due to cardiac arrest. She had not been keeping well for some time. She was cremated on Saturday.
