Forgery case registered: The police has registered a forgery case against a senior office-bearer of a prominent local educational institution on the complaint of a hardware shopkeeper. The shopkeeper, M.K. Madan, in his complaint, stated that he had supplied several hundred boxes of tiles for some construction work at the college. He alleged that when he went to the college for payment, the office-bearer threatened to implicate him in some false case. The college authorities refuted the charges of the shopkeeper and claimed that it was a concocted story.
