Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures rose in west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were appreciably below normal in Haryana and east Uttar Pradesh, below normal in Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh, appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, above normal in Himachal Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 32 degree Celsius recorded at Jhalawar (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were appreciably below normal in east Uttar Pradesh, below normal in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 6.6 degree Celsius recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).
