Ludhiana, March 9
Ritu secured 25 points and was declared the best athlete in the 11th annual athletics meet of Satguru Ram Singh Government Polytechnic Girls College, Rishi Nagar, which concluded here today. Ritu won three titles yesterday and added one more to her kitty today besides finishing runner up in the 100 m sprint today.

Ranbir Kaur and Mandeep Kaur finished second and third, respectively. Students of computer engineering proved their supremacy over others and bagged the overall trophy.

The results: 100 m- Ranbir Kaur 1, Ritu 2 and Mandeep 3; javelin throw- Palwinder 1, Nisha 2 and Minty 3; 200 m- Ritu 1, Preeti 2 and Mandeep 3; 4x100 m relay race- Computer Engineering 1, Electricals 2 and Information Technology 3; discus throw- Nisha 1, Minty 2 and Ramandeep 3; children's race- Badal 1, Mandeep 2 and Chetan 3.

Mr Priyank Bharti, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development), gave away prizes to the position holders.
