Area under cotton likely to increase: VC

The Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal has directed the heads of the department concerned with the cultivation of cotton to make adequate arrangements for the supply of seeds of Bt cotton and other hybrids available to the cotton growers and also ensure the supply of water and power during the sowing period of
cotton. The directions were given by the chief minister at a high level meeting of the heads of the department concerned with the cultivation of cotton and the scientists of the Punjab Agricultural University held at Chandigarh.
