The chief amounts of precipitation in cm are: New Delhi (Palam), 1, Himachal Pradesh: Ghumarwin and Palampur 6 each, Baijnath and Bhang 5 each, Dhundi, Patsio and Sujanpurtira 4 each, Nadaun and Nagrotasurian 3 each, Berthin, Kahu and Kasol 2 each and Bhunter, Gular, Ghamroor, Shimla, Solangnala and Sundernagar 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Banihal and Batote 6 each, Bhaderwah and Quazigund 5 each, Katra and Pahalgam 4 each, Srinagar 3 and Jammu 1 and West Uttar Pradesh: Hindon 2.
Temperature: Past 24-hour change: The maximum temperatures rose in Uttarakhand, fell appreciably in Himachal Pradesh and changed little elsewhere.
Departures: They were appreciably above normal in Uttarakhand, above normal in east Rajasthan, appreciably below normal in Jammu and Kashmir and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 38.0°C recorded at Jhalawar (Rajasthan).
Past 24-hour change: The minimum temperatures rose in east Uttar Pradesh, fell appreciably in west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere.
