Pawan Kumar, alias Monu, convicted of the murder of S. Manjunath, is to be hanged till death while his seven accomplices have been sentenced to life imprisonment and awarded a penalty of Rs 10,000 each by the district and sessions court in Lakhimpur Khiri today.
