They were appreciably below normal in Punjab, above normal in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 35.3 °C recorded at Barmer in Rajasthan.
Minimum:
The minimum temperatures rose in Himachal Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. They were normal over the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 10.4°C recorded at Adampur in Punjab.
