XLRI ties up with Thai institute

XLRI has signed a memorandum of understanding with School of Management, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand, for cooperation in education and training of management students.

Students of business management, personnel and industrial relations of the institute would be sent for three months to AIT from June this year, XLRI sources said.

The number of students to be sent was yet to finalised, they added.

The AIT is a premier autonomous international institution, which provided advanced education in engineering, science, planning and mamong top 15 B-schools in Asia, sources said.

Under this partnership, XLRI was looking towards students exchanges, research projects and other areas of cooperation, aimed at promoting cross-cultural learning and international cooperation.

The partnership came after successful tie-ups with institutes around the globe like AIM Philippine, UAMS Belgium, EM Lyon France, Malardalen university, Sweden, RMIT University, University of Victoria, Australia and Loyoloa School of Business, Chicago. — PTI
