Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.
Temperatures: Maximum: The maximum temperature changed little. It was markedly above normal in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, appreciably above normal in Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 39.4C recorded at Jhalawar.
Minimum: The minimum temperature rose appreciably in west Uttar Pradesh, rose in Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere. It was appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh, west Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, above normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 12 degree C recorded at Adampur.

Outlook for the subsequent two days:
A western disturbance is likely to approach northwest India on March 31. Under its influence rain/snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers are also likely at isolated places in north Haryana and Punjab. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
