Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.
Temperatures: Maximum: The maximum temperatures rose in west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. They were markedly above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and west Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in east Rajasthan and Uttarakhand, above normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 41.2°C, recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan).
Minimum: The minimum temperatures changed little. They were appreciably above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand, above normal in Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 14°C, recorded at Adampur (Punjab).
Forecast valid until the morning of April 1: Isolated dust storm/thunder storm is likely in west Rajasthan. Tomorrow rain/snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Uttarakhand. Isolated rain/thundershowers are also likely at isolated places in Haryana and Punjab.
Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of April 1: Sunny day. The maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 38°C and 20°C, respectively.
