Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region. Temperatures: The
maximum temperatures rose in Haryana,Punjab, east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. They were appreciably above normal in
Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Rajasthan, above normal in Haryana, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 41.1 recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan). Forecast valid until the morning of 08th April
2007: Weather will be mainly dry over the region, however,
isolated rain/thundershowers are likely in Jammu and Kashmir on 7th April. Gradual increase in day temperature. Heat wave conditions are likely to develop in parts of Rajasthan. Outlook for the subsequent two days: Isolated rain/thundershowers are likely over Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry over the rest of the region.
