Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Haryana, west Rajasthan and Uttaranchal. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.
Temperatures:
There was little change in maximum temperatures. The temperature was markedly above normal in Jammu and Kashmir,appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, above normal in Haryana and east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 41.9 C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan).
Forecast valid until the morning of April 9: Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in the region. Isolated thunder squalls are likely in Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal.
Outlook for the subsequent two days: Mainly dry weather.
Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood: Partly cloudy sky with possibility of thundry development accompanied with squall in some areas. The maximum temperature will be around 36 C.
Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi: Development of thunder clouds likely at a few places. Squall with wind speed exceeding 65 km per hour is likely at isolated places.
