Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Punjab. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. Temperatures: The maximum temperature rose in Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. The temperature was markedly above normal in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, appreciably above normal in Haryana and west Rajasthan, above normal in Punjab, east Rajasthan and east Uttar
Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 43.4C recorded at Hisar (Haryana).Forecast valid until the morning of April 25: Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Dust/thunderstorm is likely at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region. Outlook for the subsequent two days: Mainly dry weather. Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of April 25: Mainly clear sky, likely to become partly cloudy towards evening with possibility of dust storm/thunderstorm.
