Frankfinn Institute inks pact with SBP for education loans

Frankfinn Aviation Services Ltd recently announced a tie-up with the State Bank of Patiala, a reputed public sector bank, for ensuring finances to the students of Frankfinn Institute of Air Hostess Training at all its centers. The tie-up makes State Bank of Patiala the “preferred partner bank” of Frankfinn for pursuing BTEC Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Aviation, Hospitality and Travel management, a vocational qualification by Edexcel, U.K.

Claimed to be the first-ever such agreement in the Indian aviation industry, the announcement was made by Ashok Chawla, vice-president finance, Frankfinn Institute of Air Hostess Training, and Sebastian Chacko, general manager, planning and development, State Bank of Patiala, Patiala.

Chawla said, “With India opening its skies to major airlines, cabin crew has today become a lucrative career option for the aspiring young boys and girls from both metro and non-metro cities. ”

According to the agreement, the students at all the centers of Frankfinn Institute of Air Hostess Training will receive financial loans from the State Bank of Patiala for pursuing the air hostess training course. This facility will be available from all branches of the bank across India.

Chacko said, “The bank is providing education and career loan for all job-oriented courses for studies in India and abroad.” — TNS
