City homoeopath wins prestigious award

A renowned homoeopath of the city, Dr Muktinder Singh, has done the city proud by winning the Lifetime Achievement Award-2007 for his 12 years of clinical experience, overall work on the propagation of homeopathic system of treatment and rendering educational services in the field.
The Board of Homoeopathic Medicines, Delhi, selects the awardees from all over the country.
Deputy chief minister and finance minister, Delhi, Dr Y. K. Patil, presented the award to Dr Muktinder Singh and six other homeopaths at a ceremony in Delhi recently.
His work on obsessive compulsive disorders came in for special praise at the function.
The doctor runs a clinic at Dugri Road, here, and another one at
Sirhind. His research papers have appeared in various national and international magazines. He is a regular speaker at prestigious seminars.
