Sex on track Patna, May 12 Following the revelation, Lalu Prasad has ordered an enquiry into the alleged clandestine sex racket on running trains. He also asked Railways officials to probe the possible involvement of railway staff in this practice. A recent sting operation exposed the clandestine sex racket on prestigious trains like Rajdhani and Sampoorna Kranti Express. A call girl of Delhi engaged in sex racket while travelling in AC-1 coach of the Patna- bound Rajdhani Express was recently caught red-handed under the immoral trafficking Act. She was handed over to the Mughalsarai GRP. Sources disclosed that the AC first class coaches of the above two prestigious trains were being mainly used for running the sex racket. Going by the modus operandi, people concerned hire girls of their choice either from Delhi and Patna and then try to ensure allotment to a coupe in the AC first bogie. Call girls were being paid good amounts for their journey to Delhi-Patna and vice-versa with the clients. The practice reportedly was going on since long. According to railway police sources, the clients allegedly included both political leaders and business executives. Even though the Railways has no fool-proof mechanism to prevent this social menace, Danapur DRM Pankaj Jain promised measures to check such immoral acts maligning the image of Indian Railways. He said anyone found guilty following the probe would not be spared. |
