180 examined at ayurvedic medical camp

A week long camp was organised by Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic College and Hospital concluded here today. Diseases like piles, fistula-in-ano were treated by a team of specialist doctors headed by Dr Narinder Singh. As many as 180 patients were examined, while 28 operations were performed successfully at the camp. 'Kshara Sutra' procedure was also being adopted to cure the diseases. Dr Zora Singh, chairman, Desh Bhagat Group of Institutes, inaugurated the camp and praised the efforts made by the college to serve society. On this occasion, Principal of the college Dr Loveleen Kaur Ahuja stated that the institute was promoting the ayurveda.
