Function to promote art, culture

Ludhiana, May 22
Alpine International Senior Secondary School, Disney Land and Rajeshwari Kala Mandir today organised a function to promote art and culture among children. The program was held for the opening ceremony of summer camp.

The summer camp starting from May 24 to June 30 will motivate children to enhance their talent and to know more about their tradition and culture.

In today’s function, the lamp was lit by Paramjeet Kahlon, director of Guru Nanak International Senior Secondary School.

The art and craft exhibition depicted various beautiful items made by students which presented their creativity.

In architecture, students prepared the historical monument ‘Taj Mahal’.

The science exhibition presented the ‘Alpine Space Station’ in which rocket, satellite, UFO’s and other heavenly bodies were made by the students of Class IX.

This finale was followed by a cultural programme in which the talent of students were showed. Various dance items like bhangra, classical, folk and western were performed by students.
