They were appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, above normal in east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 44.8 degree celsius recorded at Dholpur (Rajasthan).
Forecast valid until the morning of June 7: Dust storm/thunderstorm are likely at isolated places in east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region with possibility of isolated dust storm in Rajasthan.
