PCTE releases two books

The Punjab College of Technical Education has released two books edited by Sandhir Sharma and P.P. Singh. The books were released by Parminder Kaur Gill, board member, Punjab Management Education Trust, here today.
While congratulating the editors, Gill said: “Both the topics are relevant and require serious address and attention of all concerned.” The editors informed that the book on computer education included the chapters on computer revolution, computer education, computer drawing board, computers as research design tool, assessment of information learning technology, etc. The book on “Teaching of Environment” included the chapters on biodiversity, forests and forestry, environmental laws and assessment, water resources management, India’s environment policy and few case studies on the Narmada Sagar and Sardar Sarover dam projects, CNG in New Delhi, the Bhopal gas tragedy.
