Ludhiana, June 9
On the conclusion of preparatory camps here, the boys and the girls’ teams representing Punjab were announced for the 58th Junior National Basketball Championship to be held from June 12 to 19 at Anatpuram in Andhra Pradesh.

Teja Singh Dhaliwal, honorary secretary, Punjab Basketball Association, announced the names of the selected players who would leave for Anatpuram this evening.

The members of the girls team are - Jagroop Kaur, Surbhi, Sukhjinder Kaur, Arvinder, Gursangat Kaur, Mandeep Kaur, Aarneet, Ruby, Sukhjinder Kaur, Pooja and Bhaavna. Suresh Kumar and Kanwaljit will accompany the team as coach and manager, respectively.

The boys team include Shansol, Harwinder Singh, Kanmoni, Lovedeep Kumar, Rajan Sharma, Satinder Pal, Lakhbir, Kuldeep, Simranjit Singh, Parminder, Jatinder and Veerpal. Dr S Subramanian and B.S. Brar have been named coach and manager, respectively.
