Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.
Temperature: The
maximum temperatures rose in west Rajasthan and changed little
elsewhere. They were markedly above normal in Himachal Pradesh,
appreciably above normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan
and Uttarakhand and above normal in the rest of the region. The
highest temperature in the region was 47.9 degree celsius recorded at
Hisar.
Forecast valid until the morning of June 11: Isolated
rain/thundershowers accompanied with thunder squalls likely in east
Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
Day temperatures likely to remain 3-4 degree celsius above normal in
the region except east Uttar Pradesh.
Outlook for the subsequent two
days: Mainly dry weather to continue except east Uttar Pradesh, where
isolated to scattered rain/thundershowers may occur.
Forecast for
Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of June 11: Mainly
clear sky with heat wave conditions. The maximum temperature will be
around 45 degree celsius.
