A painter with a message
Ludhiana, June 13
For Yash Momi, art knows no bounds. A painter from a small town,
Phillaur, near here, Yash feels that an artist pours his emotions on the canvas after hard labour and when the work of art is received well, he feels contented.
After his maiden exhibition at Dalhousie recently, which turned out to be a great success, Yash Momi started taking his "hobby" seriously. A school teacher by profession, he has painted over 250 works in the last few years. All his paintings are theme-based, spreading one message or another among the masses. "Though there are not many opportunities in Phillaur, an artist always finds his way," he says.
