Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in west Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand and at isolated places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana and Chandigarh 3 each, Himachal Pradesh: Dharampur 7, Kasol 4, Arki, Jogindernagar and Pandoh 2 each and Kahu, Kandaghat, Kasauli, Mandi, Nalagarh, Palampur, Rajgarh, Shimla and Solan 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Katra 2, east Uttar Pradesh: Lucknow 2 and west Uttar Pradesh: Sarsawa 4.

Temperature: The maximum temperatures rose in east Uttar Pradesh, fell appreciably in Haryana, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, fell in Himachal Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. It was appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, above normal in east Rajasthan, markedly below normal in Uttarakhand, appreciably below normal in Haryana and west Uttar Pradesh, below normal in Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 45.4 degree celsius recorded at Jhalawar (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of June 15: Rain/thundershowers will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, at a few places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. Isolated dust storm/thunderstorm is likely in Rajasthan. Isolated thunder squalls are likely in Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Rainfall activity is likely to continue at many places in Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand and isolated to scattered in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of June 15: Partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain/thundershowers in some areas. The maximum temperature will be around 39 degree celsius.
