Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh and east Uttar Pradesh, at many places in Uttarakhand, at a few places in Haryana and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. Weather was dry in the rest of the region.

Temperature: The maximum temperatures rose in Haryana, fell largely in east Uttar Pradesh, fell in west Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. They were appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, above normal in Himachal Pradesh and east Rajasthan, largely below normal in east Uttar Pradesh, markedly below normal in west Uttar Pradesh, appreciably below normal in Uttarakhand, below normal in Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 45.1 degree celsius recorded at Sriganganagar (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of June 16: Rain/thundershowers will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana and Punjab and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Isolated dust storm/thunderstorm is likely in Rajasthan. Isolated thunder squalls are likely in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Heavy rainfall warning: Isolated heavy rain is likely in Uttar Pradesh.
