564 bottles of liquor seized, one held

A team of enforcement officials of the Excise and Taxation Department conducted a raid at a house in Kila Mohalla on Daresi Road, falling in the jurisdiction of Police Division No 4, here yesterday and seized 564 bottles of Indian- made foreign liquor which had been smuggled from Chandigarh for sale in the city.
Woman burnt to death for dowry
