Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in east Uttar Pradesh, at many places in west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Bilaspur 7, Naraingarh and Sonepat 5 each, Tajewala 4, Jagadhari, New Delhi (Safdarjung) and Sadaura 3 each, Chhachhrauli, Chirag Delhi, Dadupur and Mustfabad 2 each and Delhi Ridge and Shahbad 1 each. Himachal Pradesh: Khairi 6, Baijnath 4, Dhundhi and Kasol 3 each, Jogindernagar and Surgani 2 each and Barsar, Chamba, Dhramsala, Kasauli, Kahu, Nalagarh, Mandi and Palampur 1 each. Jammu and Kashmir: Patti 8, Bhoond 77, Katra 4 and Basoli 2. Punjab: Hoshiarpur, Ranjit Sagar Dam, Ropar and Samrala 2 each and Amritsar 1.East Rajasthan: Dug and Govindgarh 4 each, Ramganjmandi 3, Beir, Bhainsroadgarh, Dataramgarh, Kisanganj, Kushalgarh and Sagwara 2 each and Atru, Barisadri, Chittorgarh, Chhabra, Deeg, Jhalrapatan, Mandalgarh, Nagaur, Pirawa, Rajakhera, Sambher and Todabhim 1 each.
