Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region.

The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Bawal and Tajewala 3 each, Chhachhrauli, Hatin and Mustfabad 2 each and Jagadhari 1; Punjab: Ludhiana 7, Batala 2 and Dasuya and Hoshiarpur 1 each; East Rajasthan: Bansur and Kotkasim 4 each, Amer, Kotputli, Kisangarhwas, Ladnu and Mundawar 3 each, Begu, Sangod, Tonk and Vallabhnagar 2 each and Alwar, Bassi, Behror, Bahadurpur, Khandar, Lalsot, Mandana and Tizara 1 each; West Rajasthan: Sajangarh 3 and Barmer, Bahadurpur, Khandar, Lalsot, Mandana and Tizara 1 each; West Rajasthan: Sajangarh 3 and Barmer, Bhadra and Rajgarh 1 each; East Uttar Pradesh: Katerniaghat, Khadda, Kakardharighat and Mukhlishpur 5 each, Shardanagar 4, Chhatnag 3, Basti, Chandradeepghat, Fursatganj, Ghazipur, Kanpur, Palliakalan Varanasi AP 2 each and Allahabad, Birdghat, Chillaghat, Dalmau, Kakrahi, Phaphamau, Raebareilly and Turtipar 1 each; West Uttar Pradesh: Dabri 3, Bareilly 2 and Fatehgarh, Gomatia and Narora 1 each; and Uttaranchal: Banbasa 23, Dehradun 17, Banbasa 9, Hardwar 6, Pantnagar 5, Rishikesh 4, Marora 2 and Haripur, Kalagarh and Mukteshwar 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of August 3: Rain/thundershowers will occur at many places in Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at a few places in the rest of the region.

Heavy rainfall warning: Isolated heavy to very heavy rain is likely in Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal during the next 48 hours.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Rainfall over Uttar Pradesh is likely to decrease whereas it likely to increase in Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of August 3: Generally cloudy sky with possibility of one or two spells of rain/thundershowers.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Rainfall activity is likely to increase.
