Holland artistes share experiences

Ludhiana, August 3
Two theatre artistes from Holland, Welleke and Sebe, today visited Ludhiana on the invitation of the Ludhiana Kala Manch. They had earlier conducted a theatre workshop in Pakistan. They also visited Punjab Naatshala in Amritsar. Theatre artistes from the city interacted with them at Punjabi Bhawan.

Welleke is a theatre producer and student of anthropology, while Sebe is a stage designer and comedy artiste. Both of them are committed to social theatre.

S.N. Sewak, director of the manch, apprised the young artistes about various forms of the Indian theatre in general and the Punjabi theatre in particular.

Both Welleke and Sebe shared their experiences of doing theatre in Pakistan and Indonesia.
