Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and east Rajasthan and at isolated places in the rest of the region.
The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Bangana and Kandaghat 3 each, Dharampur, Dhundi and Solangnala 2 each and Jateon Barrage, Shimla, Theog and Nalagarh 1 each. Jammu and Kashmir: Jammu 3. East Rajasthan: Shahpura, Veza and Gogunda 2 each and Ajmer, Nasirabad, Jahazpur,Kotri, Phuliyakalan, Metra, Bharatpur, Rajgarh, Dausa, Parvatsar and Chickli 1 each. West Rajasthan: Bhopalgarh 1. East Uttar Pradesh: Gorakhpur 3 and Birdghat 2 and West Uttar Pradesh: Bareilly F.M. 6.
Forecast valid until the morning of August 12: Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, south Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in the rest of the region.
Outlook for the subsequent two days: Scattered to fairly widespread rainfall likely in the region outside Rajasthan where it may be isolated.
Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of August 12: Warm and humid day. Partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain/thundershowers in some areas.
