Shivalik School in last four
Chandigarh, August 14 Winning the toss, Shivalik Public School team opted to field first. Shubham’s valuable knock of 28 runs and Priyansh’s unbeaten knock of 30 runs were instrumental in enabling CCA-GNPS to muster a respectable total of 80 runs at the cost of four wickets in stipulated 25 overs. On the other hand, for SPS, Shubham, Abhimanyu and Mandeep claimed one wicket each. In reply, SPS had a good start with their openers compiling 22 runs. However, the situation was no different for them too as their wickets too fell constantly. CCA-GNPS’s Priyanshu (4 for 18) and Harpreet (3 for 10), were the bowlers who proved to be wreckers-in-chief for the SPS batsmen. Ultimately, SPS ended the innings with the scoreboard reading 80. Tomorrow’s fixtures: First semifinal: CCA-GNPS vs St Soldier's, Panchkula, 9 am and DPACA vs SPS-41, 2 am. |
